Inspired by the natural beauty of design at Casa Balandra, and different styles of tapas throughout Spain, we hosted a spontaneous cooking and dining experience in collaboration with friends & Beklina Woman.

Day 1 at Casa Balandra was filled with reading art books & cookbooks by other inspiring chefs, and learning techniques from different sobremesas. In the evening, drafting a couple flavor and design ideas in our sketchbook. We took a trip to the local market, picked grape leaves from the garden, brainstormed how to merge different recipes cohesively.

Day 2, we transformed ideas into creativity. We shared stories while cooking, slicing, dicing, painting, and designing. Explore below to see what we enjoyed.
